Many 2006 CMP Camp Rifle Instructor Training Course (ITC) locations are already set up.  Any camp interested in sending its riflery instructors to one of these courses should check the list at http://www.odcmp.com/CR/ITC.htm.  Any camp interested in having their camp riflery instructors or counselors trained and certified through CMP Instructor Training Courses is invited to contact Deborah Boyle of the CMP staff (dboyle@odcmp.com) for information on setting up an ITC.  The CMP ITC is specifically designed to train individuals who will work as camp riflery instructors so that they can return to their camps and, with very little assistance, teach rifle marksmanship and operate a camp range safely.  The ITC is a demanding course of instruction that involves 20 hours of training over three days.

New German Shooting Museum - By Gary Anderson, DCM - The German Shooting Federation (Deutscher Schützenbund) opened a new museum dedicated to target shooting in May 2004. On a recent vacation trip to German, I had an opportunity to visit this museum. Since the preservation and presentation of the history of the shooting sports is important to shooters in the United States as well as in Germany, I thought I would prepare this brief report on the new “Deutsches Schützenmuseum.”
