Register Now for Junior Leadership Training Conference - Junior shooting coaches, leaders and parents from all over the country have one common annual opportunity to participate in training courses that are structured to increase their knowledge and skills as junior shooting sports leaders. This one national-level training week occurs each fall as either the National Youth Shooting Sports Leadership Conference (hosted by CMP in even-numbered years) or the National Shooting Coaches College (hosted by USA Shooting in odd-numbered years). The NRA Education & Training Division also plays a major role in each year’s program.

Sixth Annual International Air Rifle Postal League - South Fork High School JROTC Department is hosting the Sixth Annual International Air Rifle Postal League (5 Matches). This postal is an excellent way for your Air Rifle Team to compete with Army JROTC, Marine Corp JROTC, Navy JROTC, 4 H, and Canadian Cadet League Air Rifle Teams.  Every team has a winner in each match, the top shooter from each team in each match will receive a Military Style Medal.  View the complete program and entry form at http://www.odcmp.com/3P/International.pdf.  For more information, contact SGM. The U. S. Army Sniper School will sponsor the sixth annual United States Army International Sniper Competition Oct. 27 through Nov. 4.   Two-man sniper teams will compete in events that will include a sniper stalk, urban shooting and orienteering exercises, a stress fire and other tests of their marksmanship and sniper skills.  Ten of the teams expected to compete are Army snipers, to include representatives from the 75th Ranger Regiment, the 5th and 7th Special Forces Groups and the Army National Guard Sniper School.  The field is also expected to include teams representing the Air Force and Marines.  Seven Canadian teams and teams from Great Britain, Ireland and Israel are also expected to compete.  For more information, call 706-545-2237. 

 

Ladies Practical Pistol "Babes With Bullets" Camp will be held on 12-15 November at the Pima Pistol Club in Tucson, AZ.  The "Babes With Bullets" camp offers a great learning curve for the Novice & Intermediate shooter as a way to get you familiar with your handgun.
