March 22nd and 23rd saw the Navy establish a unique presence at Ft. Benning, Georgia. As most readers know, Ft. Benning is one of the largest and most active Army bases in the United States. As the home of the U. S. Army Marksmanship Unit, it has some of the finest shooting facilities in the country. It was these facilities that brought the best Navy JROTC air rifle shooters from around the country to compete for Navy JROTC Championship. |

Over the past two months CMP sold Remington 40X rifles to both clubs and individuals. These rifles were sold without sights or handstops. We have completed the inspection and repair of the sights and handstops and they are now available for sale to the clubs and individuals who purchased 40X rifles from CMP - on a one handstop, one front sight and one rear sight per 40X purchased basis - while quantities last. Orders from individual customers for any remaining sights will not be processed until 1 May 2004.
