Affiliation with the CMP

All camps with riflery programs are encouraged to affiliate with the CMP to take full advantage of CMP resources for camp riflery programs.  Some CMP services are available to any camping organization whether or not they are affiliated, but additional services are available to affiliated camps.

Non-affiliated camps may take advantage of the following:          

• Camp Rifle Instructor Training Courses (ITCs)

• Free Subscription to the CMP Camp Riflery Journal

• Advice on any aspect of a camp rifle program

Affiliated camps receive the following additional benefits:

• Ammunition purchase at reduced prices

• Purchase of rifles (special pricing or extended payment options)

• Camp Rifle Skill Awards Program

• Listing of affiliated camp's on the CMP web site with a link to the camp’s web site.  Thousands of people browse the CMP web site daily – many will have children who want to attend summer camps.

• Listing on the Camp Rifle Instructor Wanted Bulletin Board
