
The CMP Marksmanship Centers are open for Air Rifle and Air Pistol Marksmanship Clinics and Competitions. Monthly matches are held at the CMP Marksmanship Centers. Upcoming dates, program information and registration is listed on the CMP Monthly Matches web page. The Monthly Matches also include the National Match Air Rifle (NMAR) competitions. National Match Air Rifle (NMAR) is a new multi-faceted air rifle competition discipline that is fired indoors or outdoors on 10-meter (33 feet) ranges. The CMP Marksmanship Centers also hold Open Public Shooting evenings.

The CMP Marksmanship Center - North is a major part of a Joint Use Training Facility that the Ohio Army National Guard and CMP constructed jointly. It is located on the east side of Camp Perry's Petrarca Range. The Center has a common area with classrooms, offices, restrooms and a foyer. The south side houses expanded engagement skills training facilities to be used by the Ohio National Guard to train military personnel. The larger north end of the facility is a 20,000 sq. foot state-of-the-art air gun range. The Competition Center has 80 firing points, each equipped with MEGALink electronic targets. All shots are instantly displayed on monitors beside each shooter and on display screens visible to spectators in the center area of the range. All firing is controlled by a computer operations center in the middle of the range.

The CMP Marksmanship Center - South is an indoor training and competition facility, with an 80-point air gun range that is equipped with MEGALink electronic targets. For spectator viewing the range is equipped with 8 - 65" LCD Display TV's. The Center has a common area with classrooms, offices, restrooms and a foyer.
